Mr. Widmer has worked for large Insurance companies in Europe and the USA (Alpina, Switzerland General, AIG), and for major independent adjusting and surveying companies (Toplis & Harding, Inc, now Vericlaims; Matthews, Matson & Kelley, Ltd., now MMK Ltd./CLS Global, Crawford & Company) as well as Ocean Carriers and Stevedores in the USA. Before coming to Dufour, Laskay and Strouse, Mr. Hall was a surveyor for an independent marine surveying company primarily dealing with steel cargoes. Previous to that, Mr. Hall spent many years as a police officer/investigator, from which he has extensive experience in criminal investigations.
