DLS is a Full Service marine survey company. The Hull & Machinery group has expertise in most facets of vessel hull and machinery surveying and consulting, including hull and machinery damage, project cargo loading and securing and trips-in-tow, on and off hire, bunker and ship deadweight surveys, salvage, project management, and expert witness reports and testimony. In association with the hull and machinery surveyors, the accredited appraisers perform appraisals on marine assets and marine associated assets for a range of customers interested in maritime financial matters.
The Cargo Group is involved in loading and discharge surveys, loss prevention, pre and post shipment consulting and review and loss adjusting. Inland & Safety specializes in inland barge movements, particularly pre and post load surveys, fleet walkarounds, and inland waters safety issues.
