Attending onboard a vessel to inspect cargo as stowed onboard, during, and
following discharge to the dock apron, designated
barges, and/or road transports, in order to
ascertain the conditions present of subject
cargo, including any abnormal conditions and
damages that may be present. These conditions
may be a result of stowage, handling, seawater
ingress and other inordinate causes. In the
event damage conditions are present, we will
then conduct a full damage survey to determine
cause and extent.
Analysis and approval of cargo and equipment loading and securing arrangements for transport to domestic or international destinations. Includes recommendations for route planning, weather conditions, necessary towing gear, towing arrangements, fuel requirements, ports of refuge, and other pertinent aspects. This includes Heavy-Lift cargo and oil field related equipment.

disposal on an "as is, where is," negotiated
or competitive bid sale basis. Up-to-date
lists are maintained for the various commodities
in order to receive the best possible value
for rejected material.
DLS provides adjusting service for shipper's interests cargo, as well as ocean, air and motor truck carriers' liability clains. DLS can also provide settlement services as requested.
